Frequently Asked Questions.

Where is the studio located?

We are proudly located in Lethbridge, Alberta. You can find us downtown in The Oliver Building [up the staircase] at 316 5th Street South, unit 202.

Where do I park?

Paid street parking is available outside of the studio. Free parking is only available before 0800 and after 1630 Monday-Friday, and all day on weekends! Please arrive a few minutes early to allow time to find a spot and pay using the FloBird app, or nearby meters.

What do I bring to class?

The Coeur Club provides all mats, props, and other mandatory equipment for each class. We ask that you bring a water bottle, sweat towel (this includes bath towel, beach towel, etc.) and grippy socks (specific to all reformer classes).

  • A cold water fountain is located in studio for members to use and stay hydrated.

  • Grip socks are available for purchase in studio!

  • Sweat towels are available for purchase in studio!

  • Other refreshments (Benny Energy, Gatorade, etc.) are also available for purchase in studio!

What should I wear to class?

Wear comfortable, breathable athletic wear. Grip socks are mandatory for your safety in all Reformer classes. The stickies at the base of these socks are to keep you safe and ensure you’re able to perform the moves properly.

I’m new to Pilates. Can I still join?

Yes! Our classes are designed to be inclusive and welcoming to everyBODY. Although some of the Mat & Reformer classes are designed to be more challenging, our Coeur Essentials and ReForme classes are a good option if you are new and unsure of where to start!

What is a Reformer?

The Reformer is a stationary machine that uses a system of springs, pulleys and a gliding carriage to create resistance. This resistance (zero to heavy) activates muscles in EVERY range of motion allowing you to complete a full-body workout without strain or heavy impact. Remember, it’s not about how many reps you can do… it’s all about controlled, focused movements. At The Coeur Club, our contemporary approach to teaching is not only effective, but focuses on creative, fun movements that are safe for everyBODY! You’ll be OBSESSED before you know it!

Pre or Post Natal?

The Coeur Club offers Petit Coeur (“tiny hearts”) classes which are a safe and inclusive environment for pre or post natal members! These baby-friendly Mat and Reformer classes are designed to support deep core and strengthen your pelvic floor! Mom must be at least 6 weeks postpartum and cleared by their doctor for exercise. Babies ages 6 weeks-18 months (or not walking yet) are welcome! Parents with babies 18+ months (or walking) are welcome to join our on-demand, online membership to access weekly pre/post natal friendly workouts!

A change table is available with small essentials for your little one. Had a blow out during class - no problem! We got you!

Are all of your classes heated?

We use Infrared Heat in all of our classes ranging from 25-31 degrees celsius. There is NO added humidity, making it a dry and comfortable sweat! All Petit Coeur classes do not use Infrared Heat for the safety of your little one.

Do you allow walk-ins/standby?

Yes! If nobody has claimed their reservation on the mat or reformer (2 minutes prior to class), this spot will become available to standby guests!

How do I book a class?

The Coeur Club offers multiple Mat and Reformer classes per day, including Petit Coeur (mom & baby). Classes can be booked via the website or The Coeur Club App that is found in the App Store! Classes can also be booked while in-studio, and are open for pre-booking 7 days in advance!
